Is my event date available?

We book regular orders and cakes with 1 to 3 weeks notice.
Custom Orders are booking 8 - 12 weeks notice currently.

 Please give us call to inquire about your desired date. 

If a date is currently booked, we cannot take any orders for that date, regardless of the size or nature of the event. We can however set aside items that we have in stock, with notice given in the morning of the day you need the item(s) for. Phoning in is the fastest and most direct method to guarantee you get your items.


Due to our bakery's schedule, we do not take orders for Sundays, and cannot take custom orders for Mondays.

We do not keep a waiting list. All orders are taken in a first come, first serve manner. A deposit on your cake is required to confirm your booking. Deposits can be transferred to another date but are non-refundable.


Its not uncommon for dates throughout the entire year to become fully booked early on.

How much are your custom cakes?

Because our cakes are completely custom made, and priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list. 

Most wedding cakes are between $350 to $500 for simple decoration, and the price is adjusted according to the complexity of the design and size of your cake.

All 3-Dimentional, tiered, and sculpted cakes start at $200, and depending on design and serving size, the price will be reflected.

We will always work to accommodate your event budget and encourage you to contact us to discuss your cake!

How do I order a cake?


To start the order process, please call the shop or send an email to Debi and her team at  theavenuecakery@gmail.com containing all the following information (you can copy and paste this section into our Contact page to send an email):
-the date of your event

-the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, birthday, etc)

-the event location

-delivery address

-delivery time if required (delivery for weddings, corporate and onsite setups only)

-how many people you will need to serve 

-your daytime phone number 

-your email address

-an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking for


What's your payment policy?


For Wedding cakes and larger orders a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until we have received your deposit. For all other custom orders we require a minimum $25 deposit to secure your date.

Payment can be made by cash or credit card (Visa, AmEx, or Mastercard) or email transfer.

All deposits are non-refundable. 

Do you deliver?


Delivery is available for wedding cakes and cakes that require on-site assembly.

We do not ship our cakes. 

Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled, and are roughly $50 to $100. (This is within a 45 min to 1 hour radius)

Longer deliveries are occasionally arranged, but must be determined on a case-by-case basis and on availability, 

NOTE: While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk. The Avenue Cakery & Bakeshoppe does not recommend clients self-transport larger 3D or sculpted cakes, cakes over 2 tiers tall, or any cake farther than 3 hours, and is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our bakery. 

I have dietary restrictions. Can you help?


We do not do any allergy baking.  We use nuts and nut products in the bakery and cannot guarantee that our cakes have not come into contact with these allergens, although we make every effort possible to accommodate. We do not make 100% gluten, dairy, or egg free cakes, although we do have some items that are flourless they may still have come into contact with flour, for those who are gluten intolerant these items may be alright for some...we do not recommend these items for those with Celiac.
