Order FAQ

ORDER FAQ
Is my event date available?

We are currently completely booked through March 24, 2012 for any weekend orders (this includes cakes, cupcakes, custom and large orders). This means that we cannot take any orders prior to that date, regardless of the size or nature of the event. We can however set aside orders for items that we have in stock for that day with prior phone call in the morning.

Due to our bakery's schedule we do not take orders for Sundays

We do not keep a waiting list.

We are unable to take any more orders for the following days:

How much are your custom cakes?

Because our cakes are completely custom made, and priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list.

Most wedding cakes are between $350 to $500 for simply decorated and the price is adjusted according to the complexity of the design.

3D, tiered and sculpted cakes start at $150 and depending on design the price will be determined

We are happy to work within your event budget and encourage you to contact us to discuss your cake.!

What's your payment policy?

Payment can be made by cash or credit card (Visa, AmEx, or Mastercard).   Deposits are non-refundable.

Do you deliver?
Delivery is available for wedding cakes and cakes that require on-site assembly.

We do not ship our cakes.

Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled and are roughly $50 to $100 this is within a 45 min to 1 hour radius)

Longer deliveries are occasionally arranged, but must be determined on a case-by-case basis and on availability,

While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk. The Avenue Cakery & Bakeshoppe does not recommend clients self-transport larger 3D/sculptural cakes, cakes over 2 tiers tall, or any cake more than 3 hours and is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our bakery.
Do you ship your cakes?
We do not ship our cakes.
I have dietary restrictions. Can you help?
We do not do any allergy baking.  We use nuts and nut products in the bakery and cannot guarantee that our cakes have not come into contact with anything, although we make every effort possible. We do not make gluten, dairy or egg free cakes. Although we do have some items that are flourless they may still have come into contact with flour, for those who are gluten intolerant these items may be alright for some...we do not recommend these items for those with Celiac.
